Donovan Wisse vs Michael Boapeah gecancelled
Vele mensen keken al op naar de partij tussen Donovan Wisse (19-1-0) en Michael Boapeah (17-4-1-0) die ook aangekondigd werd door de organisatie. Helaas kondigde de Surinamer zijn partij zojuist af via zijn instagram. De Surinamer liep het dengue virus op in Suriname waardoor hij niet op tijd zijn trainingskamp kan starten.
Hij zei het volgende in zijn instagram bericht:
Fight cancelled!
Due to illness I was not able to train optimal for GLORY 89 planned on October 7th. Although I was also busy with my own kickboxing event I was still in training until I contracted the Dengue virus(tijgermuskiet virus).
I had heavy fever, I was in bed for almost a week and a half so to prepare for a title fight the time would’ve been to short to be on my 100% because the virus has a lot of side effects and I’m still recovering.This week I’m starting to train again and I hope to give you guys another great performance the next time I’m in the ring.
Boapeah be careful what you wish for. I don’t know why you think I’m afraid but get as ready as you can. Even at your 100% you still won’t have enough to touch me😉 I hope to face you in the ring before the end of this year.
